John Peacock, the primary singer and songwriter of doctormanette, is still making music. He has a solo album in the works (think Elvis Costello, Jason Falkner and Burt Bacharach) and is currently involved with many Chicago artists as a performer, producer, engineer, and arranger. For more information on his current work as well as his forthcoming solo releases, visit his web site or check him out on MySpace.

Jay Bennett, formerly the creative backbone of Wilco, and Edward Burch, of the Kennett Brothers, have a new record out, "The Palace of 4am, part I." Jay and Ed have created an ode to all that is great of the 60's, 70's and modern pop. In addition to writing the string arrangements on their most recent record, John Peacock, formerly of doctormanette, has backed Jay and Ed both live and in the studio (most recently on a track for a George Harrison tribute album). Look to their site for a bevy of future releases and shows, shows, shows…check out
